Hey there!

I’m Kimberly, the Creative Director behind K-Rae Designs—a one-woman powerhouse of bold, colourful and vibrant art. I’m a proud Bundjalung and South Sea Islander woman living on Yuggera Country / Brisbane, Queensland.

K-Rae Designs was born in 2017, shortly after I became a Mum and needed a creative outlet while navigating life with a newborn. What started as ink and brush pen doodles quickly evolved into a full-blown passion when I got my hands on an iPad—and I’ve never looked back.

My signature style? Big, bold, and unapologetically colourful. I’m all about strong lines, block colours, and eye-catching designs (shading and texture? Not my vibe, dahling). Every piece I create is infused with a mix of culture, creativity, and a touch of playfulness.

As a one-woman show, I do it all—designing, lettering, packing orders, answering DMs, writing thank-you notes, and making postie runs—all while juggling #mumlife with my two little humans.

When I’m not creating, you’ll find me trying out a new cafe with my family, reading a thriller or throwing back a GnT while dancing to old-school RnB.
